The TS (Touchstone Series) range from Bourgeois is a collaboration between luthier Dana Bourgeois and Eastman. This series aims to make Bourgeois guitars more accessible. The models, including OM and Dreadnought, feature Alaskan spruce tops with Adirondack spruce bracing, and bodies made of Indian rosewood or mahogany. The guitars are designed in the United States and assembled in China, thus offering Bourgeois craftsmanship and quality at a more affordable price.

The Bourgeois TS D Vintage is a Dreadnought format guitar that stands out with its old-growth Alaskan spruce top (featuring very tight grain) and Adirondack spruce bracing, selected and crafted in Dana Bourgeois's workshop in the United States. This construction ensures a rich and deep sound, characteristic of Bourgeois guitars. The back and sides of the TS D Vintage, made of Indian rosewood, enrich the sound with powerful bass and clear highs. The mahogany neck and ebony fretboard ensure smooth and comfortable playability.

Aesthetically, the TS D Vintage is inspired by classic designs, featuring herringbone finishes and a black and white rosette, reminiscent of pre-war models. Schaller GrandTune tuners and a ziricote headstock facing add a touch of elegance. Thus, the Bourgeois TS D Vintage is a guitar that offers the sound quality and construction finesse of Bourgeois instruments, but at a more accessible price due to its international production. In our opinion, it is an absolute success.
