The D-35 NEW is the modernized version of Martin's classic D-35 model, mainly comprising a truss-rod to adjust the neck and a new bracing. Its rich tone lends itself to a wide range of musical styles and has made it one of the flagship models. The model's originality lies in a three-piece rosewood back, with a central section that flares out from the heel of the neck to the back cleat. The model we have selected features woods perfectly matched with ribs of the same vintage. This beautiful guitar generates a powerful and mellow tone, with deep lows and chimey highs—an excellent choice for solid rhythm and silky arpeggios.
