Lakland makes great basses, visually and sonically. This USA Series 55-60 (Vintage J) has the best specs imaginable: a Lakland LH3 preamp, which has incredible clarity and precision, a 3-band EQ that does more than just decorate, extraordinary tonewoods, and beautiful finishes.

The woods are of very high quality: the body is light (it's a big bass, still), and you can already see on the neck the comfort and ease of play it offers. Plugged in, it allows you to tackle all styles with one turn of a knob. Whether the song calls for a round and deep, wide and velvety, or bright and defined sound, you'll find what you need.
