De Leeuw Guitars, located in Pont-Sainte-Maxence, France, is a luthier workshop founded by Quentin De Leeuw and David Schwarz, specializing in through-neck electric guitars. Blending tradition and modernity, the workshop creates custom instruments, focusing on comfort, sustain, and a rich sound. Each guitar is meticulously crafted, from the selected woods to the pickups. In recognition of its excellence, De Leeuw Guitars won the public's choice award at the La Belle Guitare Show in Montrouge in 2022. Each instrument is made individually, with meticulous attention to every detail, from the choice of woods to the selection of pickups, ensuring a unique and expressive instrument.

The De Leeuw Moderne MS6 Natural Ziricote is an exceptional guitar, showcasing the masterful craftsmanship and technique of the De Leeuw brand. It is constructed from a seven-ply through-neck made from a blend of maple, ziricote, and black pear wood. The result is visually striking, and the resonance is remarkable. The Indian rosewood fingerboard of this Moderne MS6 enhances the instrument's resonance and offers a silky touch, making the journey of the fingers across the 24 jumbo stainless steel frets very pleasant. The custom Ziricote top completes the captivating aesthetic of the maple body, enhanced by solid brass back plates.

In terms of handling, the MS-6 excels in comfort and ergonomics. The carefully thought-out body contour fits perfectly to the guitarist's morphology, allowing unparalleled ease of play. The soft C neck profile of De Leeuw Guitars with a 16" radius offers smooth and intuitive playability, enabling the most demanding technical acrobatics with ease. The SP Custom Chaosland pickup set delivers a rich and dynamic sound palette, capable of adapting to all musical genres, from jazz to metal, including fusion, blues, rock, and country (even if it doesn't quite have the look to go with a Stetson). The refined electronics, including a CTS potentiometer for volume and tone, an Orange drop capacitor, and a 3-position Switchcraft selector, ensure a clear and precise sound transmission. The copper shielding effectively eliminates interference, guaranteeing exceptional sound purity. This guitar is a magnificent piece of luthiery, as well as a high-performance musical instrument.
