Inspired by JD Crowe's legendary original banjo, the Gold Tone OB-3 Orange Blossom was meticulously recreated in 2018 by "Banjo Ben" Clark, Jake Stogdill, and Robby Boone. Through extensive research and rigorous attention to detail, Gold Tone has successfully revived this classic.

The RB-3 "Banger" features a "No Hole" tone ring, which significantly tightens the resonance. It retains the original dimensions of the head, neck, and body, with sloped resonator walls, vintage inlays, a Presto tailpiece, and a brown mahogany finish. The nickel-plated hardware and concentric rings on the resonator add a touch of elegance. With over 25 years of experience in banjo design, Gold Tone claims that this model surpasses all previous ones in terms of sound quality, and upon testing, it certainly seems so. The RB-3 "Banger" comes with an archtop hard case and a transferable lifetime warranty.

2-year warranty in our workshop.
