Its keywork is reminiscent of its revered French siblings  and even is neatly made ABS body looks like natural African blackwood. Designed for great fluidity, it has a suprisingly good intonation and sonority.

This entry-level instruments provides the same playability as the brand top models. Introduced in the 70's the model has continuously been improved over the last four decades. The lighter weight ABS body is an important asset for young aspiring artists. An adjustable thumb hook allows the use of a neck-strap.

Manufactured in Yamaha workshops, its mechanism is sturdy and reliable ensuring durable playing enjoyement. It is supplied with the original lightweight hard-shell case, a decent quality mouthpiece and maintenance accessories.
