The Bach 170 Series trumpet is a modern interpretation of an original design created by Vincent Bach. While Stradivarius trumpets are renowned for their iconic one-piece bell, Bach’s original Apollo design featured a two-piece bell.
This new range of professional 170 Series instruments combines the same valve block and body construction as the renowned 180 Series. Featuring an innovative two-piece bell made from two different brass alloys and treated using the same annealing processes as Stradivarius trumpets, these instruments are designed to meet the needs of today's trumpet players, whatever their musical style.
The 17043GY features a two-piece Model 43 bell, consisting of:
- A gold brass stem.
- A yellow brass flare.
This combination of materials produces a sound that blends:
- The depth and richness of gold brass.
- The brilliance and clarity of yellow brass.
The instrument is built around a one-piece brass valve block with a .459" ML bore, identical to that of the 180 Series. It features a lightweight body, brass inner and outer slides, and Z-shaped braces.
The model has been updated with a new standard-pitch 6R leadpipe, designed to deliver an exceptionally quick response, increased agility and greater ease of playability.
This instrument is warranted 2 years by our workshop.
