PRS DGT Semi-Hollow David Grissom McCarty Sunburst

This semi-hollow DGT was developed from the original model (itself a refined McCarty) with a single f-hole and chambered body. The result is greater harmonic depth, a slightly softened attack and a warmer, more open midrange.

Built to PRS’s high standards: mahogany body, flamed maple top, set neck, rosewood fingerboard with 22 frets and moon inlays. The neck profile is David Grissom’s own, designed for stability without stiffness and comfort without compromise.

Electronics include a pair of DGT humbuckers, clear and dynamic, with coil-splitting for single-coil tones. Two independent volume controls allow precise blending. A 3-way selector and tone knob complete the setup.

Hardware includes the PRS Gen II Tremolo bridge, locking Phase III tuners with faux bone buttons and a nitro gloss finish. Each guitar is hand-signed by Paul Reed Smith (headstock) and David Grissom (backplate). Tested through Tweed Deluxe, JCM800, Bogner Shiva and event the Neural DSP Archetype, it held its voice and clarity in every setup.
