The NUX NPK-20 Black is a compact and fully featured instrument, capable of delivering the feel and sound of a modern stage piano. It offers a highly realistic weighted action, a wide sound palette, and advanced features, making it equally suited for home practice or studio recording.
The keyboard features a triple-sensor weighted mechanism with escapement and textured ivory/ebony-style keytops. The action is precise and quiet, providing excellent control over legato, rebound, and balance between black and white keys. The overall feel closely resembles that of a grand piano, without excessive mechanical feedback.
Its 271 built-in sounds are divided into seven categories, including grand pianos, organs, synths, strings, and more. Layer mode allows two sounds to be played simultaneously, while Split mode divides the keyboard into two distinct zones. The sound engine includes a particularly expressive 9-foot concert grand sample, offering dynamic response and fine detail.
On the audio side, the NPK-20 offers 4 types of reverb, 4 compressors, chorus, delay, and a 9-band EQ. A dedicated microphone input with built-in reverb enables simultaneous playing and singing. All features are controlled via a clear 4" color LCD. Arranger mode, user banks, metronome, and sequencer add to its versatility.
