This entry-level model from the Fender Standard series offers a well-built, accessible Stratocaster, ideal for beginner to intermediate players looking for a reliable, versatile instrument that stays true to the Fender spirit. The construction pairs a lightweight poplar body, known for its clear and responsive tone, with a maple neck featuring a comfortable Modern C profile and a smooth satin finish. The maple fingerboard, with its 9.5" radius, allows for easy chord work and fluid soloing.

The three Fender Standard Ceramic Single Coil pickups deliver a clear, punchy tone with slightly higher output than vintage-style Alnicos. This setup covers a wide range of genres (from rock and pop to funk and indie) while retaining the classic Stratocaster sound. The 5-way selector switch gives access to all the traditional combinations, including the scooped quack tones in positions 2 and 4.
