The Player II HSS brings classic Stratocaster DNA into a more versatile and contemporary setup, designed for players who need a wide tonal range and modern playability in one reliable instrument. Its clean look and smooth feel are matched by solid components and an efficient pickup layout.
The alder body features Fender’s iconic contours and a high-gloss Olympic White finish. Paired with a maple neck in a Modern C profile and a 9.5"-radius rosewood fingerboard (22 medium jumbo frets), the neck offers both familiarity and comfort. Rolled fingerboard edges enhance the playing experience.
The HSS pickup configuration includes two Player Series single coils in neck and middle positions, and a Player Series humbucker at the bridge for fuller, hotter tones. Some versions feature coil-splitting, letting you access traditional Strat chime or go for thicker rock tones with a flip of a switch.
Electronics include a 5-way switch, master volume, and two tone controls for shaping your sound. The vintage-style synchronized tremolo and standard or locking tuners (depending on model) provide stable tuning and expressive potential for live or studio use.
