The pTrumpet is the world's first real plastic trumpet.
Thanks to its light weight, colourful design and excellent value for money, it is ideal for children. But adults will enjoy it too.
Although its sound is remarkably similar to that of the original instrument, it is by no means a substitute for traditional brass instruments. It is the perfect tool for beginners, a practice instrument when travelling, or an alternative for concerts in the rain.
Easy to play
As the pTrumpet is much lighter than a traditional metal trumpet, children can play it for longer. The advantages are numerous, meaning that playing technique and posture improve more quickly. Every time you pick up the instrument, it is simply more enjoyable.
Great value, low price
The pTrumpet costs only about a third of the price of an average entry-level metal trumpet and comes with everything you need: a carrying case and two plastic mouthpieces (3C and 5C). If necessary, it is compatible with any standard trumpet mouthpiece.
Simple and straightforward
Traditional metal trumpets quickly become dented or damaged and incur high maintenance costs. The pTrumpet's sturdy ABS body is extremely resistant to everyday wear and tear, whether from knocks, drops or bad weather, and is easy to clean with water.
Low maintenance, reliable and robust. With the pTrumpet, the pleasure of playing comes first.
The brand:
It all started with a simple idea.
Trombonists Steven Greenall and Chris Fower wanted to develop an instrument that was neither expensive, heavy nor fragile, but also to counteract the decline in the number of musicians in wind orchestras and finally to breathe new life into wind music among children and young people.
It was from this idea that, in the 2010s, the pBone® was born: the world's first real ABS plastic trombone, lighter, less fragile, less expensive and more colourful than metal instruments.
Since then, Greenall and his team have continued to develop the pInstruments® family with a range of plastic instruments, gradually realising their desire to facilitate access to music education.
In fact, they are working in parallel on educational concepts designed to introduce wind music to as many people as possible. Nothing less, ultimately, than the original idea.
pInstruments® are definitely not toys.
Thanks to them, playing music becomes fun again, for children and teenagers as well as adults.
