The result is a wider, less directional response than a traditional closed-back cabinet, with improved dispersion and a more “amp-in-the-room” feel.
The Celestion G12M / Creamback-style 65 W speaker clearly defines the cabinet’s character. The midrange is vocal, the highs are present without harshness, and the low end stays firm without becoming overwhelming. This signature works particularly well with both British and moderately voiced American tones, from articulate cleans to expressive crunch, retaining clarity even as gain levels rise. The Synergy 112 highlights the differences between modules and preamps without smoothing or hardening the sound.
