The B-MAN is a deliberate interpretation of the Tweed Bassman, with that distinctive blend of wide low end, bright highs and thick midrange that laid the foundation for much of the American guitar sound. The module prioritises feel and dynamics: a broad, breathing clean that takes pedals exceptionally well, and an organic crunch that emerges naturally as gain or picking attack increases.
The dual-channel architecture clearly separates roles. Each channel has its own controls and can be voiced differently: one set very clean, wide and open, the other denser and already under tension for rhythm work or leads. The behaviour remains highly interactive, with effective clean-up from the guitar’s volume control and a clear difference in response between single-coils and humbuckers, true to the spirit of vintage Bassman amps.
The Bright and Tight switches open up a wide range of responses. Bright shapes top-end sparkle and attack, from soft tweed warmth to a more incisive snap. Tight adjusts the low end, allowing it to stay wide and slightly loose in a vintage style, or to be tightened for more modern contexts. A global Cathode Select switch further refines feel and response, from very old-school grain to a more controlled version. The B-MAN stands as an authentic American foundation, capable of premium clean tones and rootsy crunch with strong character.
