The Acus One Forstrings 8 Simon Wood is built for acoustic guitarists, singer-songwriters and acoustic instrumentalists who need a complete setup without relying on an external mixer. It remains portable, but this is a proper compact stage combo, not a living-room practice amp.
The 200 W RMS bi-amplified power section provides enough headroom for rehearsals, small stages, café gigs and solo or duo performances. The 8" woofer gives acoustic guitars and pickup-equipped instruments the necessary body, while the high-frequency driver keeps attack, overtones and vocals clear.
Its three independent channels make practical setups easy: acoustic guitar, vocal microphone, second instrument or line source. Each channel offers the essential controls needed to shape the signal quickly without overcomplicating the workflow. The auxiliary input adds useful flexibility for backing tracks or external playback.
The built-in effects cover everyday needs with reverbs, chorus and delay depending on configuration. This is not an effects workstation, and that is part of the point: the focus stays on clean, warm and controlled acoustic reproduction. The tilt-back cabinet also helps with monitoring on stage without forcing the overall volume.
With Line and Rec outputs, effects loop, headphone output and manual anti-feedback filter, the One Forstrings 8 Simon Wood can work as a standalone combo, a personal monitor or a compact personal PA. It is not meant to replace a full front-of-house system for a loud band with drums, but for players who need a clean, stable and usable acoustic sound, it is a serious tool.
