The LR18043S model features a lightweight body with standard weight one-piece hand-hammered professional bell and reversed #25LR leadpipe. This unique construction offers the quick response of a lightweight model with less resistance on account of the reversed leadpipe and the projection of a standard weight #43 bell. When compared to the #37, the #43 bell produces also a larger and more open sound. The clear lacquer finish provides a subtle warmth to the overall sound. The LR18043 with a 11.66mm medium-large bore gives the player a more open feel and response resulting in an instrument that is well suited for all types of music.
