MXR Bass Synth MB301G1

The MB301G1 combines precise monophonic tracking with fast, practical editing options, bringing genuine synth vocabulary to an electric bass without sacrificing signal clarity. Mix, Sub, Cutoff, Resonance, Envelope and Mod provide the foundation, while the Voice and Shape mini-switches open access to oscillators and waveform choice. Secondary parameters extend the range (glide, compression, tracking modes) without cluttering the interface.

In use, the pedal covers clean sub lines, thick funk textures, aggressive filter sweeps and more electronic-leaning tones. Tracking stays stable even in lower tunings, with a response that follows fingerstyle or pick dynamics accurately. The presets keep things efficient on stage: eight memory slots with consistent level and EQ recall. The TRS output allows mono, wet/dry or light stereo depending on routing. The Control input accepts an expression pedal for continuous control of a chosen parameter.
