Founded in 1949 in Linden, New Jersey, Ampeg has become a benchmark brand for bass players. Legendary models such as the B15 Portaflex and the SVT have shaped the sound of amplified bass, from Motown studios to the loudest rock stages. In 2024, Ampeg celebrates 75 years of innovation with a special edition of the SGT-DI pedal, finished in the iconic blue of the 1969 “Blue Line” SVT amp.
Compact and road-ready, the SGT-DI Blue Line Anniversary condenses Ampeg’s sonic heritage into a modern, versatile format. The Super Grit Technology circuit offers two classic voicings: SVT for aggressive, growly drive, and B15 for smooth, vintage warmth. On top of that, the unit features a full EQ section, onboard compression, IR-based cab simulation, and professional-grade connectivity.
The 3-band EQ includes a sweepable midrange for precise tone shaping, while the Ultra-Lo and Ultra-Hi switches extend the frequency curve to fit any genre. The built-in compressor (10:1 ratio) provides smooth, controlled dynamics without compromising playing feel. The integrated cab simulator includes six factory-loaded Ampeg IRs and space for three user IRs via the free Ampeg IR Loader app. Owners also get access to the exclusive 75th Anniversary IR Pack featuring SVT-610HLF, SVT-810AV, and SVT-15e cabinets.
Equally suited for live use and home recording, the pedal includes balanced XLR and 1/4" outputs, a 1/8" aux input, and a headphone output for silent practice. The Blue Line metal housing pays visual tribute to Ampeg’s vintage gear while integrating perfectly into modern pedalboards.
A compact, complete, and highly versatile tool at the crossroads of vintage character and modern performance. For bassists who want the Ampeg sound anytime, anywhere.
