Developed in direct collaboration with Reinhold Bogner, this module distils the full personality of the legendary Ecstasy head into a compact format for Synergy amp heads and rack units. It offers two fully independent channels, each with complete EQ control and internal switches to fine-tune response and aggression.
The blue channel captures Bogner’s signature crunch, with wide-ranging gain from warm British-style overdrive to muscular hard rock tones. The red channel goes further, delivering saturated, fast, high-gain tones with massive sustain, while retaining the clarity and punch of a refined Plexi circuit.
Each channel features its own Gain, Volume, Bass, Middle, and Treble controls, plus two three-position switches: Pre-EQ, which shapes the signal before the gain stage, and Schizo, which alters harmonic structure. The Cathode Selectswitch lets you match the module’s feel to different power amp styles (USA, British or Soldano voicings), while the Dual/Single switch ensures compatibility with legacy Egnater and Randall systems.
