Integrating the latest development achieved by Selmer-Paris and state-of-the-art manufacturing technique, the newly designed  "Série III" range sports a different sound aesthetics from its predecessors. These versatile models feature exceptional homogeneity, accuracy, fluidity and playability and will therefore appeal to discerning saxophonists from various musical horizons. To this day, soprano, alto, tenor and baritone registers are available in this series.

These refined instruments meet the highest intonation and homogeneity requirements, especially in the left hand. Somewhat lighter sounding and more vivacious thanits sibling from the Series II, this tenor is more open and flexible. It also generates a lavish low register ideal for subtone phrasing. Among other things, its  neatly made keywork features two right-hand ring finger keys that are articulated on a single axle for better ease of playing. The left-hand little finger plateau has been ergonomically improved by supplying a Bb rotating spatula. 

Completely manufactured in the premises of Mantes-la-Ville, this instrument benefits from the Selmer long-acquired expertise in saxophone making. Being still a family operated business, the company manufactures saxophones since 1922.
