The versatile Mollenhauer recorder series is based on a model by Jacob Denner (Nuremberg, 1681-1735) and modelled on a specimen designed by the late Frederick Morgan, from Australia. According to many musicians, Fred Morgan was one of the seminal 20th century artisan who has raised the level of reproduction instruments and influenced many of the best makers still working today.

This Denner speaks clearly and effortlessly and the tone color is perfectly balanced in all registers. It has a refined tone with brilliance to it, rendering it ideal for solo playing. This agile instrument is most reliable in all registers and therefore particularly suitable for virtuose repertoire. Vivaldi would have loved it, and not just him.

We propose it with a two year warranty from our workshop.
