Especially known for attracting shredders and metalheads thanks to its ultra-thin necks, floating vibratos and 7, 8 and 9 (!) strings guitars, Ibanez has established itself as THE Japanese export brand. Founded in 1957 in Nagoya, Japan, Ibanez began by producing copies of the american brands such as Fender, Gibson and Rickenbacker, before creating its own. But it was in the 80's that the brand set itself as a staple of the rock and metal landscape, by signing virtuosos such as Joe Satriani or Steve Vai, and established itself as a reference when it comes to superstrats.

This Ibanez bass has a body with clean lines, contours, and size that make it very comfortable to play both sitting and standing. It is perfectly balanced, light, and resonant. The finishes are impeccable (Ibanez QC is one of the best), and the whole is very professional.

The tones are warm and deep, and the Bartolini pickups–which are among the best of their kind–are fantastic. The playing dynamics are perfectly transcribed, and any subtleties are just as well captured. The 3-band equalization is parametric and can also be bypassed, allowing you to control your sound immediately on the instrument. Nothing is missing, and everything is perfect.
