The flagship of Fender's production, instruments from the Custom Shop range are guitars and basses that meet the highest quality standards, be it in the wood selection, the pickups winding, the finishes or the overall build quality. This results in highly reliable instruments with inimitable sound, providing great playability.

We see a lot of guitars, we choose only the best. This one is above the top. It doesn't look like anything, and it's very classic in terms of Strat. This is one of the characteristics that add to its charm. After all, what could be more Strat than looking a little generic? It's the guitar that has been the epitome of rock since they both were invented. Even the shape of the guitar could never be patented precisely for that reason.

And yet, when you take it, you realize that it contains a world of beauty, lutherie, and sound. What strikes is the fingerboard. It is indeed rosewood, but it is so black that it looks like ebony. The grain is tight, the aesthetics are beautiful, and the touch is very smooth. The alder body is light (since it is very dry), and the quartersawn maple neck is superbly joined. As a result, the resonance is blissful.

And when you plug it in, it almost tells you what to play. The lows are round and encompass the tone like a piano. The highs are present, and you can feel the woods balance any piercing tendency they might have. As for the mids, they explode in a harmonic fury that leaves no other option than to turn up the amp to enjoy them better. The only shortcoming of this guitar is that it is unique.

It comes in a period-correct case with the usual Custom Shop accessories and a certificate of authenticity.
