Especially known for attracting shredders and metalheads thanks to its ultra-thin necks, floating vibratos and 7, 8 and 9 (!) strings guitars, Ibanez has established itself as THE Japanese export brand. Founded in 1957 in Nagoya, Japan, Ibanez began by producing copies of the american brands such as Fender, Gibson and Rickenbacker, before creating its own. But it was in the 80's that the brand set itself as a staple of the rock and metal landscape, by signing virtuosos such as Joe Satriani or Steve Vai, and established itself as a reference when it comes to superstrats.
The Axion Label series is dedicated to metal, and the pair of Bare Knuckles Aftermath humbuckers is there to signify it on this model, even if the rather soft finishes (ash body, Antique Brown Stained Low Gloss color) seem to counterbalance this bias. The Edge Zero II tremolo will allow you to keep in tune despite any bad treatment you will inflict to the strings. The playing comfort afforded by the Nitro Wizard neck will give wings to your solos, without tiring your hand during more sustained rhythmic passages.
