For many enthusiasts, C.F. Martin & Co. has been creating the most beautiful guitars globally for over 180 years. The company has innovated using manufacturing techniques and features that have become standard, including the X-bracing, fourteenth fret body/ neck joint, and Dreadnought format. Faithful to the founder's approach, the company continues to employ artisanal processes and a highly skilled workforce. Today, more contemporary designs and procedures allow Martin to maintain its reputation as the world leader in the realm of professional acoustic guitars without sacrificing its core models and legendary quality.

Introduced in 1996, the 000-28EC is based on Eric Clapton's guitar of choice for his iconic 1992 MTV Unplugged performance. It is handcrafted with a premium East Indian rosewood back and sides and a bookmatched top of select quartersawn Sitka spruce. Its smaller 000 body size and short 63,4cm scale help produce delicate, balanced tones. The rosette and soundboard are inlaid with vintage herringbone wood marquetry. An ebony fingerboard features a long diamonds-and-squares pattern in abalone pearl. Eric's signature is inlaid in mother-of-pearl between the 19th and 20th frets. Tastefully appointed with hand-beveled tortoise pickguard, nickel-plated open-geared machines equipped with unique butterbean knobs. Each Martin Eric Clapton Signature Guitar bears an interior label, individually numbered in sequence.

You may not yet play like God, but this guitar will for sure bring you to heaven!
