The new OM21 is a new spin on a classic, that was presented at NAMM this year. The open tone, the deep projection and the rich harmonic timbre all show up to awaken the creativity of songwriters as well as fans of picking in different styles. The solid Sitka spruce top clearly rounds off the sound, and the back and sides in Indian rosewood add to the richness of the mediums and the projected bass. Its low deep register associated with cristal clear highs make it an instrument tuned to the needs of demanding musician as well as collectors. The illustrated model is particularly spectacular: the tight grain of its top and the elegance of the rosewood that dresses its body are exceptional. The scalloped X top bracing brings yet another dose of warmth and resonance, all in line with the expectations we have of Martin's creations.
