Especially known for attracting shredders and metalheads thanks to its ultra-thin necks, floating vibratos and 7, 8 and 9 (!) strings guitars, Ibanez has established itself as THE Japanese export brand. Founded in 1957 in Nagoya, Japan, Ibanez began by producing copies of the american brands such as Fender, Gibson and Rickenbacker, before creating its own. But it was in the 80's that the brand set itself as a staple of the rock and metal landscape, by signing virtuosos such as Joe Satriani or Steve Vai, and established itself as a reference when it comes to superstrats.

This guitar sounds as good as it looks, and it has all our favorite specs: DiMarzio pickups, Wizard III neck with ebony fingerboard, and Lo Pro Edge vibrato (the classic). The mahogany body softens the highs and provides impressive sustain, and the ash top is gorgeous. The Wizard III neck is remarkably comfortable and fast. DiMarzio's Fusion Edge set delivers very liquid distortions, with great clarity and articulation even at very high gain levels. The Lo Pro is super reliable, and you can rough it up any way you want: the tuning holds up perfectly. With that matching headstock to top it off, it has a wild elegance.
