The flagship of Fender's production, instruments from the Custom Shop range are guitars and basses that meet the highest quality standards, be it in the wood selection, the pickups winding, the finishes or the overall build quality. This results in highly reliable instruments with inimitable sound, providing great playability.

This Stratocaster  issued by the  the Fender Custom Shop is plain marvelous: the alder body is amazingly light, the aged lacquer gives it a vintage elegance, and the resonance is impressive. Made to the specifications of the famous L series, it is truely a thing of beauty, but still a workhorse: it's made for stage and studio!

The C-shape '63 quartersawn flamed maple neck (designed mid-63 and used up 'til '65) and the rosewood "roundlam" fingerboard add some clapping to the sound and a silky feel as your fingers glide along its notes. It's a pleasant profiles (one of the most comfortable) and allows for easy handling. The bluesy feel is at hand's reach.

Equipped with handwound Custom Shop "64" pickups specially mounted on these series, it delivers the characteristic brilliance and glassy tone of its genre, with generous bass on the neck position, roaring highs on the bridge position and, of course, the authentic vintage sound on the classical intermediate positions. Its vintage hardware is aged so as to emulate years of intense play. Delivered in its case with its certificate of authenticity and accessories, this exceptional guitar has a 2 year warranty from our workshop.
