This clarinet belongs to the Buffets Crampon historical models. Designed in 1955 by Robert Carrée, the R13 became quickly the best selling professional clarinet in the USA and is still remains the most popular professional model worldwide.
Its tone is focused and rich, and it is powerful in all registers. It has a strong projection in all registers and its flexibility lends itself to all repertoires: symphonies or chamber music, soloists, teachers, military bands, students or amateurs.
